 Our Governors:

Liz Firth: Liz is our Chair of Governors. She has a wide variety of experience and is a Secondary Advisor to The Linking Network where she has worked alongside schools and educational professionals. 

Jen Cartwright: Jen is our Vice Chair and a Parent Governor. Jen is a HR Business Partner for Leeds Beckett University and provides support to schools and corporate leadership teams. She can offer HR advice to the school in her role as Vice Chair and  understands processes and good practise.

Kim Hache: Kim is the staff governor and is currently our Y1 teacher. She is also the SENDco and can offer not just expertise on teaching matters, but also on SEN practise and support, staffing and SEN finance.

John Hawkes: John is a parent and a Foundation Governor. John is an experienced governor and works in the rail industry as a manger. John supports the school on health and safety matters.

Angela Cook: Angela is a Foundation Governor. She is a retired Primary Head Teacher and has a wealth of experience in the education sector. She was the head at St Anthony's in Shipley, a school which is part of our Trust. Angela advises on all things curriculum and assessment.

Helen Owen: Helen is a retired secondary teacher. She has curriculum experience and is also very experienced working in committees and councils as she was a local councilor for many years.
